Call in at Waterstone’s in the Brunel Plaza or Borders Bookstore in the North District Centre for books by authors coming to the Festival, and look out for on-site bookshop stalls at Festival events, offering sales, signings, and surprises!

Read the Swindon Advertiser, Link Magazine, Western Daily Press, SwindonWeb, and Frequency Magazine for daily, weekly, and monthly coverage of the Festival.

Tune in to BBC Radios Swindon and Wiltshire on 103.6FM and GWR FM on 97.2 and Brunel FM on 107.7 and new Swindon Community Radio on 105.5 for regular Festival updates.

Swindon’s Literature Development Programme, ARTSWORDS,
is alive and kicking.

It works to organise, encourage, support, and run creative, entertaining, and educational word-based activities in town. These include the following:

SWINDON ARTS CENTRE READING GROUP – meets monthly to enjoy good book talk!

Regular READING GROUPS – in Libraries and elsewhere!

A WRITERS’ CAFÉ – happens monthly, to meet other writers, get guidance, be inspired, and write!

A RESIDENTIAL WRITING WEEKEND – will take place in Autumn!

A MENTORING SERVICE for WRITERS – available on request!
